Our articling program will provide you with hands-on experience in all aspects of the practice of construction litigation. You will work closely with our lawyers and you will be responsible for Small Claims Court matters, you will argue motions and participate in the firm’s research and publication projects. You will become an integral part of our team.
The successful candidates will be dedicated students, with an interest in practicing construction law. Practical qualities of candidates should include: advanced research and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for advocacy.
We anticipate that you will complete the Barrister and Solicitor Exams and the Skills and Professional Responsibility Program required by the Law Society of Upper Canada prior to commencing your articles in July.
Compensation
Our student salary is competitive with downtown Toronto boutique firms.
You will also receive health care benefits, two weeks paid vacation and membership in the Canadian Bar Association.
