Alexander WilkesStudent at Law
Alexander Wilkes joined Glaholt LLP as a summer student, working at the firm for two summers while completing his law degree at the University of Edinburgh. Alexander is trained in Canadian, UK and EU law, having obtained his NCA qualification during a year of full-time work at Glaholt, prior to the commencement of his articling period.
During his time at the firm, Alexander has obtained experience assisting with both litigation and alternative dispute resolution matters, and has further assisted with front-end contract development work for clients. Alexander has also contributed to construction industry publications including the Construction and Infrastructure Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and the Construction Law Letter.
While at University, Alexander served as a representative on the Law Students’ Council and treasurer for the University’s karate team, a team for which he won multiple medals at Scottish kumite championships.Alexander Wilkes
