Glaholt Bowles LLP’s articling program will provide you with hands-on experience in all aspects of our construction practice, including:

  • Dispute Resolution: Articling students will conduct legal research, draft pleadings, attend court, and assist with alternative dispute resolution files, including mediations, arbitrations, and adjudications.
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Articling students will also assist with contract review and negotiation.

Each student is supported by a formal mentor who will help foster the growth of your career. You will become an integral part of our team.

The successful candidates will be dedicated students with an interest in practicing construction law. Candidates should also have advanced research and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and an aptitude for advocacy.

We anticipate that you will complete the Barrister and Solicitor Exams required by the Law Society of Ontario prior to commencing your articles.

Compensation

Our student salary is competitive with large downtown Toronto firms. You will also receive health care benefits, two weeks paid vacation, and membership in the Canadian Bar Association.
