Bio

Jessica is committed to helping clients achieve their goals through effective advocacy. She has extensive experience representing owners, general contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers in a wide range of construction disputes.

Jessica has appeared before numerous courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal, and the Landlord and Tenant Board. She has also advocated for clients through a variety of alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation, arbitration, and construction adjudications.

Prior to joining the firm, Jessica articled and practised at a prominent mid-sized, full-service firm. Since then, her practice has evolved to encompass complex, multi-party construction disputes. Drawing on her business background, Jessica provides practical, business-oriented advice tailored to each client’s objectives.

Jessica is an active contributor to both the legal and construction communities, frequently lecturing on key industry topics such as construction contracts, prompt payment, adjudication, and risk management. She currently serves as Member-at-Large on the Executive of the Ontario Bar Association's Construction and Infrastructure Law Section.

Jessica is a co-editor of the firm’s Building Insight newsletter and serves as a mentor to summer students and articling students.
