Kathy Jiang joined Glaholt Bowles LLP in 2022 as a first-year associate.
Prior to joining the firm, Kathy worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where she conducted legal research and observed court proceedings in civil, family, and constitutional law. She also assisted the Divisional Court with appeals and judicial reviews. The experience provided Kathy with invaluable insight into the judicial reasoning and decision-making process, allowing her to effectively advocate for her clients.
Kathy graduated from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law with a JD degree in 2021. During the summer after the first year of law school, Kathy worked at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C. for Public Services and Procurement Canada. Kathy was a Student Case Worker at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic, Intern at the Department of Justice, Research Assistant for Professor Alyssa King, and a Summer Law Student at a mid-sized law firm in Ottawa. Prior to her legal education, Kathy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, Neuroscience and Behaviour from McMaster University.
